I am a visual designer with a BFA in fine art who specializes in creating clean and clear, on-brand content. I believe the transformative impact of great design, thinking and implementation, can be the source of inspired change.

 

As a designer, I'm a critical thinker with a penchant for getting to the root cause of problems-- or quandaries of any kind. I see the world through a detailed lens, and am fascinated by systems large and small. I enjoy the challenges inherent to design since this thinking process taps me into my natural problem-solving abilities.

I am a maker of objects, products, experiences, and ideas because I love it. Making is an expression of what matters, what I think is important, and what I think is impactful. Having worked with the public on projects creating opportunities in education, healing, and growth, I understand how to listen deeply and translate needs into solutions.

  

While my history as a maker spans back decades, my most recent work has been in digital media, designing websites and mobile applications. This iteration of my practice has allowed me to play and grow as I push myself towards new creative heights. Technology opens new avenues, offering incredible opportunities for engagement, connection, and healing. As far as I see it, there is no end to imagination.

In the 20 years I lived in Portland, Oregon, I studied fine art and design, practiced lots of yoga, and cycled and hiked all over the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I’ve recently relocated to the mountains of the southeast United States to further my explorations. I am beyond thrilled to connect with other designers, creatives, anthropologists, and nature geeks for conversation or adventures. Know a tea house or good cidery?
